Leaks on Galaxy S25 Ultra - A New Era of Design and Performance

Recently, the leaker Revengus shared on platform X (formerly Twitter) that Ilhan Lee, a former designer at Mercedes-Benz and the current head of the design team for Samsung's MX division, has been tasked with redefining the Galaxy brand to provide a "fresh" feel. This indicates that we can expect significant design changes starting with Samsung Galaxy S25.

With the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Samsung began using titanium in the chassis, similar to what Apple did with the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. It is expected that the S25 Ultra will at least continue to utilize titanium, although it remains unclear whether Samsung plans to apply it to the base and Plus versions.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (Leaks)

A report from Android Headlines in March 2024 revealed that Samsung was testing four different prototypes for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, with some images included that show what these prototypes might look like.

Overall, the prototypes appear similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, although we can only see the front of the device. The first model looks like the S24 Ultra but features thinner edges. The second model has a flatter frame with very slim edges all around. The third model shows thinner left and right edges, but thicker at the top and bottom. The fourth and final model has a thinner frame with rounded edges.

Despite these designs differing from one another, they essentially represent variations of a single design. However, since we only see the front, we do not know how the sides or the back will look. Until we see CAD-based designs, the design remains a mystery.

Other rumors suggest that the S25 Ultra may have more rounded corners compared to the sharper angles of the current S24 Ultra. While the boxy design will still be present, the introduction of rounded corners could make the phone more comfortable to hold.
